New interim release of EiffelStudio 5.7
Emmanuel Stapf has announced a new binary interim release of EiffelStudio 5.7.
There's a list of changes, of which I found the following three to be the most interesting:

- Inlined externals are implemented (as per ECMA Eiffel)
- Project settings are now saved "per target", keyed on the UUID of the configuration file
- A new '-local' option to the command-line compiler lets you do batch compilations without messing up the sttings from your ongoing development work

Emmanuel, I would certainly like to see "-local" be the default for batch compilation.
It would make batch compilation more straightforward and "surprise-free" for new users.
